Muriel Martino

Muriel A. Martino, 82, of Myerstown, died on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Cedar Haven.
She was born on Wednesday, August 28, 1935 to the late Clarence Press and Emma Press nee Smith in Philadelphia. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church where she was a secretary for 20 years. She was married for 60 years. Muriel graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Philadelphia in 1953. She was a Matron for OES, Conrad Weiser Chapter #449. Her hobbies included cross stitch and crocheting. Muriel was a teacher and mentor to many including knowledge of computers.
Surviving are husband John L. Martino, Myerstown, PA; children Lawrence J. spouse of Gail Martino, Philadelphia, PA, Michael W. spouse of Lori Martino, Cinnaminson, NJ, Donna L. spouse of Kevin Bixby, Irvine, CA, Steven J. spouse of Kim Martino, Newark, DE; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters Eleanor Neamand, Thelma Reed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1141 West Chester Pike, Havertown on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 1:00-3:00PM.
