Norman McGuire, Jr.

Norman J. McGuire, Jr. , 70, of East Petersburg, Pa passed away November 30 in the Lancaster General Hospital. He was born on February 1, 1950 in Cresson, Pa to the late Gretel
Kleebach Moll and the late Norman J. McGuire. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann McGuire and his sister, Clara “Max” Lutz.

Norman was a graduate of Cedar Crest High School. He was drafted by the Army and trained as a Medic serving 13 months in Vietnam. Norman would have described himself as a
“man of few words” but his heart made up for that. He loved spending time with his daughter and grandson, friends and family, and he loved watching the Eagles!

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica McGuire and her partner Randal Gilbert, his grandson, Ethan; stepdaughters Rebecca (Carl) Richter and Madeline Shertzer; his brothers
Don (Cindy) McGuire; David (Linda) McGuire; Gregory (Val) Moll. Also by sisters Vicki (Ernie) McGuire; and Betsy (Larry) Stewart.

Christman’s Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements and a private service will be held at Indiantown Gap at a later date.
