Norman Schaeffer

He was born on Friday, March 29, 1935 to the late Robert Schaeffer and Amy Schaeffer nee Berger in Pine Grove, PA. He was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Mt. Olivet Masonic Lodge #704, as well as the Reading Consistry and Rajah Shrine. Norman enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling, family gatherings, going to dinner and seeing plays with his wife of 53 years, Diane A. Schaeffer nee Aungst.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his buddy Flora; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers William Schaeffer, Paul Schaeffer, and Mervin Schaeffer; sisters Marian Wenrich, Beulah Reed.
Viewing will be on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 2:00PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc.
Services will be on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
