Pauline Hess

Pauline D. "Polly" Hess, 84, of Lebanon, died on Tuesday, March 06, 2018 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born on Saturday, April 08, 1933 to the late Frank Peiffer and Annie Peiffer nee Betozhkie in Bethel. She retired as a dietary aide for the VA Hospital. Pauline and her husband celebrated 66 years of marriage and she enjoyed bowling, camping, wordsearch puzzles, cooking for the holidays and cats. Polly was involved with the South Sixth Street Playground Association, life member of Rescue Hose Ladies Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary.
Surviving are daughters Charlotte A. "Bonnie" spouse of Jeff Culp, Susan spouse of Tom Getz, Karen spouse of John Vucetic; son James H. Hess, Sr. and fiance Nikki Fickes; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brothers Warren Peiffer, Charles "Butch" Roth. She was preceded in death by husband Charles R. Hess Sr.; son Charles R. Hess, Jr.; grandchild Johnny Vucetic; brothers John Roth, Adam Peiffer.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
