Raymond White

Raymond R. White, born on November 30, 1924, died peacefully in his sleep on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the age of 86.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris (Kling) White, his parents, Clayton & Mary; brothers Paul, Irvin, Charles, Lester, Clayton, Austin; sisters Edna Stohler, Meda Shank and Margie Stoudt. Raymond graduated from Cornwall High School. He was retired after 43 years of service at Bethlehem Steel. As a life member of Elstonville Sportman''s Assn., he enjoyed hunting and fishing. His favorite get away was to Potter County where he was a member of Valley Gun Club since 1949. He was also a bowler with other retirees at Cedar Lanes. He is survived by his son, Rickey and his wife Anita; grand-daughter Melissa wife of Bryan Freed and grandson Ryan White; great grandchildren "Big Boy" Wyatt, "Bright Eyes" Savannah and Arianne Freed gave him many happy days preceding his death. He is also survived by companion, Ethel Marks residing at Manor Care..

Viewing will be on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Quentin (Bismarck) Cemetery, Quentin, following the service.
