Richard E. "Dick" Bucks, 74, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Monday, May 02, 2016 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born on Tuesday, April 28, 1942 and was raised by his aunt Emma Mills and uncle Lee Mills, Sr., in Lebanon. He was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church and retired from Hauck Mfg. as a tool maker for 42 years. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Dick enjoyed watching the Eagles, Phillies and Flyers. He liked hunting, cooking, reading, sitting by campfires and shooting sports. Dick was a lifetime member of the NRA, Mt. Lebanon Lodge #226, Quittapahilla Forest #25, retired PA Game Commission as Deputy for 32 years, COPA, Quittie Woods, Tall Cedars of Lebanon and Heidelberg Sportsman Association.
Surviving are wife Connie M. Bucks nee Wolfe; son Lee A. Bucks; sisters Christine Becker, Lebanon, Mary Lou Drye, Lebanon; sister-in-law Christine Werni, Lebanon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers William Mills, Lee Mills; sisters Betty Bickle, Dolores Norman.
Visitation will be on Saturday, May 07, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, May 07, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The family has requested casual attire to the service
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
