Richard L. "Dick" Nelson, 80, of Lebanon, died on Thursday, November 07, 2013 at VA Medical Center.
He was born on Wednesday, June 21, 1933 to the late Theodore Nelson and Angeline Nelson nee Johnson in
Driftwood, PA. He was a veteran of the Air Force in the Korean Conflict. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing and bird
watching.
Surviving are wife Ernestine L. Nelson nee Ruppenthal; daughters Kathy Kreiser, Debra spouse of Jeff Bamberger,
Tracy Nelson; son Duane Nelson; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; step sister Lorraine Phillips; brother in law
Peter Chastain; sister in law Sharon Nelson. He was preceded in death by 1 grandchild; brother Ronald Nelson;
sisters Evelyn Chastain, Joanne Gentzel.
Viewing will be on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226
Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with viewing starting at
10:00AM.
