Richard Spangler

January 8, 1929 — March 17, 2013

Richard H. "Dick" Spangler, 84, of Cornwall, formerly of Manheim, died on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Cornwall
Manor.

He was born on Tuesday, January 08, 1929 to the late Herman Spangler and Clara Spangler nee Felty in Lebanon.
He was a member of Living Word Ministries, graduated from Lebanon Valley College and worked as an Industrial
Engineer at Bethlehem Steel. Dick was in the German Occupation Forces from 1950-1952 in the Army. He enjoyed
fly fishing, deer, small game hunting and was a member of the Susquehannock Fly Fishing Club. He was a pastor,
volunteer at the Lebanon VA Hospice for over 15 years and volunteer for the United Cerebral Palsey Day Program in
Lancaster.

Surviving are daughters Robin spouse of John Ondrusek, Kelly Spangler; sister Joan Moyer; cousins Joe Lauver,
Barbara Rank; brother-in-law Lester Achey. He was preceded in death by wife Anna Mae Spangler nee Beck; sister
Betty Spangler.

Viewing will be on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 7-9 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland
Street, Lebanon.

Services will be on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM with viewing starting at 10:00AM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, with full military honors, following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Living Word Ministries, 1691 Grace Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17046.
