Robert R. "Bobby" Metz, 77, of Hughesville, died on Monday, December 25, 2017 at his home.
He was born on Saturday, August 24, 1940 to the late Harold W. Metz, Sr. and Carrie I. Metz nee Brown in Lebanon. He was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church and worked as a supervisor at Keystone Weaving Mills. He was a veteran of the Army in the Vietnam War. He was the president of Highland Lake 40 & 8 Club. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing and being at the cabin.
Surviving are brother Harold W. Metz, Jr., Lebanon; sister Shirley spouse of Ken Weaver, Jonestown; nieces Debra Knarr, Bonnie Berger, Judy Parker, Kelly Schooley; several great nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
