Robert Progin

Robert H. "Bob" Progin, 93, of Myerstown, died on Monday, December 16, 2013 at StoneRidge Retirement.
He was born on Saturday, November 13, 1920 to the late J. Henry Progin and Addie G. Progin nee Clouser in Lebanon. He was a member of Lebanon Church of the Brethren and was a veteran. Bob was the founder of Haucksville Investment Club in 1967 and was a Master Plumber with #520 Union. Bob holds a record for the fastest mile ran in 1939. He was a member of the Optimist Club, member of Keenagers and enjoyed bowling.
Surviving are children Ronald L. spouse of Sandra Progin, Lebanon, Robert G. spouse of Linda Progin, Mechanicsburg, Janice E. spouse of David Paskowski, Sinking Spring, Richard A. spouse of Monica Progin, Lebanon, Joanne K. spouse of Lester Garis, Palmyra; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife Naomi R. Progin nee Lippert; sisters Verna Weimer, Marian Greenawalt; brothers Fred Progin, Joseph Progin.
Viewing will be on Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Lebanon Church of the Brethren, 400 Locust Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the church.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
