Robert J. "Bobby" Shaffer, Jr., 49, of Myerstown, died on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born on Monday, February 17, 1964 to Robert J. Shaffer, Sr. of Shickshinny, and the late Shirley Shaffer nee
Hewlitt in Berwick. He retired from the military and Frackville State Prison. He was a veteran of the Army in the Gulf
War. Bobby enjoyed football, collecting antiques, gun collector, fishing and a Nascar fan.
Surviving are wife Lorri R. Shaffer nee Morris, Myerstown; daughter Ashley Padilla, Chicago, IL; stepdaughter Angie
spouse of Adam Gonzalez, Lebanon; stepson Jamie Smith, Lebanon; 5 step grandchildren; sisters Tina Hewlitt,
Berwick, Carol spouse of Joseph Venditti, Berwick, Kathy spouse of Brian Fisher, Berwick, Deanna spouse of
Richard Babb, Benton; 7 nieces; 1 nephew; beloved pet Angel.
Viewing will be on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226
Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors, following the service.
