Robert Lee "Smitty" Smith, Sr., 74, of Lebanon, died on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at home.
He was born on Wednesday, March 17, 1937 to the late Frederick Edward Smith and Rita Veronica Smith nee Roof
in Lebanon, PA. He was a member of Moravian Church, Lebanon. Robert retired from Hershey Chocolate, enjoyed
karoke and spending time with his family. He spent the last 6 years with his best friend and granddaughter Macy
Mulholland.
Surviving are wife Joan M. Smith nee Cabana, Lebanon; daughter Lynn M. spouse of Christopher Mulholland,
Lebanon; son Robert L., Jr. spouse of Barbara Smith, Lebanon; daughter Joni Reigle, MD; son David F. Smith,
Lebanon; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister Janet Sequinot, Lebanon. He was preceded in death
by brothers Fred Smith and Larry Smith.
Viewing will be on Monday, October 17, 2011 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226
Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. A private memorial service
will be held Tuesday.
