Roy D. Boeshore, 85, passed away on Tuesday September 13, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Born in Lebanon on September 1, 1926 He was the son of late William and Mabel (Sholley) Boeshore. Roy was retired farmer and fuel deliveryman for Hutter Fuel Oil. He also served as the care taker of the Kochenderfer''s Cemetery and janitor for the Perse. He was a member of the Kimmerling''s Church and a long time member of the Ebenezer, Glenn Lebanon and Jonestown Perseverance Fire Companies. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of several leagues at Cedar Lanes.

He was preceded in death by his wife Alverta Ruth (Umberger) and daughter Sandra Jo Boeshore. He is survived by his two sons, Carl Boeshore of San Angelo, Texas and Neal Boeshore of South Daytona Beach Florida, his grand children Douglas Etzweiler, Autom Cora, Olivia Boeshore, Hailey Ream and Dagon Ream, and great grandchildren Lillianna Etzweiler, Damian Soto, and Elijah Cora. He is also survived by his sisters Eva Peiffer, Edna Boeshore, Estella Rhoads and Betty Birch.

Viewing will be on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Kimmerling''s Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 3544 North Progress Avenue Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
