Russel Light

Russel R. Light, 96, of Jonestown, died on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born on Tuesday, January 15, 1918 to the late Oscar Light and Anna Light nee Groy in Bunker Hill.  He was a member of God's Missionary Church. He worked at Bethlehem Stee; Corp. for 15 years; Gerhart Feed MIll, Jonestown; Coal Mines for 19 Years and part-time for the Union Township. He was a member of Greenpoint Fire Co. and also the Lickdale Fire Co. Russel enjoyed hunting, farming, building bird houses and his family.
Surviving are daughters Marie spouse of Howard Chaney, Sandra DeHart; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; sister Bonita spouse of Luther Peck. He was preceded in death by wife Gertrude M. Light nee Kohr; sons Leonard Light, John R. Light, Sterling H. Light.
Viewing will be on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at God's Missionary Church, 2127 Hill Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 2:30 PM at the church.
Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Chapel Cemetery, Jonestown, following the service.
