Russel F. "Russ" Waltermyer, 96, of Cedar Haven, Lebanon, died on Friday, November 26, 2010 at the home.
He was born on Tuesday, September 08, 1914 to the late Elmer F. Waltermyer and Minnie E. Waltermyer nee Shirk
in Jonestown. He was a member of Jonestown United Methodist Church. He worked at Reading Railroad as a
conductor and flagman. He was a member of the United Transportation Union and Reading Technical & Historical
Society. He enjoyed railroad and steam engines.
Surviving are daughters Shirley spouse of Donald Boyer, Jonestown, Eleanor J. spouse of Wade Dove, Winchester,
VA; sons Kenneth H. spouse of Carol A. Waltermyer, Annville, Jeffrey M. spouse of Diana Waltermyer, Jonestown;
stepsons Warren spouse of Kay Moyer, NY, Richard Moyer, NY, Harold spouse of Dolores Moyer, Fredericksburg;
22 Grand Child; numerous great grandchildren; half brothers Wayne Waltermyer, TN, Frederick Waltermyer, TN; half
sisters Irene Mayes Waltermyer, TN, Ruth Waltermyer Cardwell, TN; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by wife Grace M. Kohr and wife Alma C. Long; son Bruce A. Waltermyer; daughter Debra F. Swanger;
brothers Paul S. Waltermyer, George W. Waltermyer, Warren E. Waltermyer; half brother Edward Waltermyer.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, December 01, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc.,
226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 01, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
