Russell Mills

Russell H. Mills, 82, of Lebanon, died on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at home.
He was born on Thursday, September 22, 1932 to the late Walter Mills and Lillie Mills nee Danner in Harrisburg. He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, retired from the Lebanon Daily News and later worked part-time at Foodland and Cornwall Manor. Russell was the president of the Local Chapter ITU, treasurer, choir member, deacon, elder for the church and a member of Barbershop Chorus of Lebanon. He privately donated to the community throughout the years. Russell enjoyed the mountains and walking outdoors.
Surviving are daughters Iris J. Stanfield, Gail L. spouse of Gary S. Williamson; sister Christine Mills; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife Beverly Mills nee Miller (June 14, 2000); brother Clark Mills; sisters Gladys Mills and Beverly Hepford.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, July 01, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 02, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Grace United Church of Christ, 1000 S. 5th Ave. Lebanon with viewing starting at 10:00AM.
Burial will be at Richland Cemetery, Richland, following the service.
