Ruth A. Kessler of Manheim died on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Hospice of Lancaster County.
She was born to the late Arthur A. Caudill and Ethel (Cox) Caudill in Hazard, KY.
She enjoyed playing cards and games. Ruth was a talented seamstress and liked playing guitar and piano.
Surviving are sons Jeff spouse of Vivian Kessler, Manheim, Jim spouse of Pat Kessler, Apollo Beach, FL; daughter Joyce (Kessler) spouse of John Rowe, Lebanon; grandchildren Greg spouse of Audrey Kessler, Kelly (Kessler) spouse of Chad Penix, Shawn spouse of Robin Rowe; great grandchildren Amanda Rowe, Grant Kessler, Ava Kessler; sisters Elizabeth Harrison of North Hills, CA, Mae Lardieri of West Liberty, KY, Kathleen Bell of West Liberty, KY; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Clair B. Kessler; daughter Joan Kessler.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 from 6-8PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 10:00AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery following the service.
