Ruth L. Retter, 82, of 34 Aspen Drive, Manheim, died on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at her home. She was born on Tuesday, October 25, 1927 to the late William Butterworth and Lillian Butterworth nee Hummel in Norristown, PA. She was a member of Lebanon Valley Church of the Nazarene. She worked as a treasurer. She was active in the church and the organist in her church. She also enjoyed crafts. Surviving are husband Donald V. Retter, Manheim; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Harry Butterworth, Bill Butterworth; sister Alice Keehn. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 04, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Lebanon Valley Church of the Nazarene 900 S. 5th Avenue, Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 04, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, following the service.
