Sterling H. Light, , 73, of Jonestown, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born on Tuesday, September 27, 1938 to Russel Light and Gertrude Light nee Kohr in Lebanon. He worked in maintenance at Cleaver Brooks. He enjoyed hunting and was involved with the Lickdale and Greenpoint Fire Company. He was also an assistant firefighter warden, mason and trustee for Jonestown Fish and Game.
Surviving are wife Marilyn V. Light nee Shirk, Jonestown; sons Mark spouse of Corinne Light, Jonestown, Michael spouse of Joy Light, Jonestown; grandchildren Brittney Kleinfelter, Brooklyn, NY, Steven Beck, Jonestown, Amber Light, Jonestown; sisters Marie Chaney, Sandra DeHart; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Leonard Light, John Light.
Viewing will be on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 6-8PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM with viewing at 10:00AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Chapel Cemetery, Jonestown, following the service.
