Susan K. Gilbert, 67, of Palmyra, died on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Lebanon Valley Brethren Home.
She was born on Tuesday, April 24, 1945 to Paul K. Gilbert and Edna S. Gilbert nee Sherman in Lebanon. She was a member of Palmyra Church of the Brethren. She had worked as a waitress at Rillo''s Italian Restaurant in Carlisle, a dental assistant. She was active at her church where she was a youth advisor and cook for the youth, sang in the choir and was a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed camping and grandchildren.
Surviving are daughters Gerri L. spouse of Todd Basselgia, Lebanon, Ina M. spouse of Bill Mumma, Elizabethtown; son Adam Fredericks and fiance Jennifer Reilly, West Chester; grandchildren Zachary Basselgia, Alicia Basselgia, Rebecca Basselgia, Isabelle Mumma, Olivia Mumma, Dominic Mumma; brother Robert P. spouse of Cheryl Gilbert, Ocean Pines, MD.
Memorial services will be on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM at DiMatteo Worship Center, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra.
