Thomas P. "Tom" Donnachie, Jr., 85, of 34 Horst Avenue, Lebanon, died on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at VA Medical
Center.
He was born on Wednesday, September 10, 1924 to the late Thomas P. Donnachie, Sr. and Sarah Donnachie nee
Bard in Scotland, PA. He was a 60+ year member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He served in the Navy in
World War II in the Pacific from 1943-1946. He graduated from University of Wisconsin and worked at Lebanon
County Trust Company. He grew up in the Lebanon Country Club where he became an avid golfer. He was the
County champion in 1961 and 1962. When he retired, he drove a school bus for Cornwall-Lebanon School District.
He enjoyed old movies, crossword puzzles and coin collecting.
Surviving are wife of 61 years Betty I. Donnachie nee Confair, Lebanon; son Thomas P. spouse of Judy Donnachie,
New Castle, DE; grandchildren Megan Donnachie, Boston, MA, Melanie Donnachie, Quincy, MA; brother Pat
Donnachie, Lebanon; sisters Nancy Donnachie, Manheim, Margie Krotec, Palmyra; several nieces and nephews;
Max the dog.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 757
Willow Street, Lebanon.
A memorial service of celebration will be on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the church.
