Thomas Lloyd, Jr. (86) passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010 surrounded by his loving family at the Stone Ridge Health Center, Myerstown. He was the husband of Josephine Hoy Lloyd to whom he was married 62 years (January 10, 1948). Born in Lebanon on January 7, 1924, Tom was the son of the late Thomas and Sadie Krick Lloyd. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School, class of 1942 and was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Lebanon Plant. Tom was a World War II veteran, serving with the US Army in the European theater. Following his military service, he attended the Conn Musical Instrument Repair School in Elkhart, Indiana. He was well known in the community through his ties to the Lloyd''s Potato Chip Co. which operated at local farmer''s markets. He was also an avid bowler, a musician and the proprietor of the Lebanon Band Instrument Repair Shop for over 60 years. Tom was a long time member of the U.M. Church of the Good Shepherd, Lebanon. In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, JoEllen and Donald Walters, Jr., grandsons Nathan and Thomas Walters, and a sister Louise M. Lloyd (all of Lebanon). Viewing will be on Monday, April 26, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd, 1500 Quentin Road, Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
