Valerie A. Light

Valerie A. Light, 66, of Fredericksburg, PA, passed away on December 2, 2024, at Hershey Medical Center. Valerie Light was born on August 20, 1958 in Lebanon, PA, to Raymond Arnold, Sr. and Eva Tobias née Vance. Valerie attended Northern Lebanon High school. She later married Jacob Light, and the couple was blessed with two daughters, Jessica and Jamie. Valerie also enjoyed a career in sales while working for AT&T Wireless. Valerie was an avid crafter, best known for her crocheting skills. She was also passionate about spending time in her garden, where she focused on cultivating multiple varieties of flowers. She greatly loved the company of her sweet-faced little Bichon Frisé, Harley. Valerie is survived by her mother Eva, daughter Jessica (Derek) Bucher; siblings Raymond "Pete" Arnold, Dianna (Glenn) Connatser, and Carole Zentz; and her adoring grandchildren: Jaxon and Lauren Bucher and Alaina Shean. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jacob, and their other daughter, Jamie Shean. Services are to be held privately at the convenience of the family.
