Verna M. Sherer, 88, of 1200 Grubb Road- Hosteter House, Palmyra, died on Saturday, September 04, 2010 at Lebanon Valley Brethren Home.
She was born on Friday, December 02, 1921 to the late Irwin Schwenk and Mabel Schwenk nee Bomberger in Lebanon. She was an active member of Florin Church of the Brethren. She was a graduate of Hershey High School and worked at SICO. She also enjoyed camping.
Surviving are daughter Joanne M. spouse of Gerald Nolt, Lititz; grandchildren Jodi spouse of Ben Garrison, Jeff spouse of Amy Nolt; great grandchildren Andy, Jason, Abigail; sister Myra E. Ziegler. She was preceded in death by husband J. Samuel Sherer; infant son Robert Dennis Sherer; sister Ruth Krall; brother Howard Schwenk.
A celebration of life will be on Wednesday, September 08, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Florin Church of the Brethren, 815 Bruce Avenue, Mt. Joy.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
