Funeral Home Package Prices
General Price List
Under Pennsylvania law, only a licensed funeral director may discuss, explain, and quote prices for the funeral goods and services set forth on this list. If someone other than a licensed funeral director presents this list to you in your home, that person may not discuss, explain, or quote for the funeral goods and services set forth on this list.
These prices are effective as of 10/01/2023 but are subject to change. The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing in the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
Reimbursement of Merchandise/Cash Advance/Special Charge items are REQUIRED to be made to the funeral home by the time of the funeral/memorial services.
Payment from an insurance company as an assignment will have an
additional 3.5% added to the final bill.
Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. does NOT invoice estates unless the
attorney signs the funeral contract. You are encouraged to apply for
reimbursement from the estate if one is established.
Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. accepts cash, money order, personal
check, cashier's check or certified check, authorized Visa, Mastercard,
Discover and American Express.
Professional Services
Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff -

Our professional service charge includes but is not limited to counseling,
availability on a 24 hour basis, consultation with family and clergy, assistance of staff in all necessary phases of arrangements,
obtaining, preparation, and filing of necessary notices, authorizations and consents, certificates and permits; coordinating with
those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g. cemetery, crematory and others; and assistance to family following funeral and
final disposition. Included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility
expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory expenses and governmental compliance. This fee
for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (A portion of this fee is
already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burial and forwarding/receiving remains).
Transfer of Remains to Funeral Home - $409
Transfer of remains to funeral home within Lebanon County.
Outside of Lebanon County will be an additional $4.00 per loaded mile.
To safely care for our clients over the weight of 300 lbs., a $200 fee will be added to the cost of transportation.

Embalming - $1,090
Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select
certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to
choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. Reasonable attempt
will be made for authorization, when not available, refrigeration will be used at a charge of $5.00 per hour (maximum $100 per
day) until authorization is available.

Use of visitation or viewing room(s) including but not limited to family room(s) and reception are for one hour. In lieu of funeral home facilities, all necessary equipment and additional staff for church funeral or funeral conducted from other location. Our services include set-up of visitation area. placement of encased remains, display of floral arrangements, supervision and attendance during the visitation.

Our services include cemetery contact for grave opening and closing, accompaniment of remains to cemetery, supervision of graveside service, hearse, arrangement of floral pieces at graveside and staff to attend service.

Forwarding of Remains to another Funeral Home -
Includes local removal of remains, minimum services of staff, embalming, receptacle of body, necessary authorizations, transportation to Harrisburg International Airport (MDT). It does not include airfare, service of staff or the use of facilities for any visitation and/or rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding the body to the airport. This applies to shipment within the continental United States. Transfer to Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) – an additional $800

Body Donation without any attendant rites or ceremonies include local removal of and shelter of remains (with refrigeration) and transportation to Hershey Medical Center, necessary services for staff and authorizations.

Direct cremation without any attendant rites or ceremonies include local removal of and shelter of remains
(with refrigeration) and transportation to crematory if local, cremation, necessary services for staff and authorizations.
If you choose to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide
are cardboard cremation container or Cardboard Casket.
